• Chances Gives Choices Launch Event Sunday 5th June 2016

Kenneth Clarke of Laceys Mediation attended the official opening of the Richard Alan House Parental Assessment Centre in Alderbury, near Salisbury.  This is the latest initiative of Chances Gives Choices, who are based in Romsey.

After the opening ceremony, the enthusiastic gathering enjoyed a tour of the newly refurbished building.  The Assessement Centre will support local authorities dealing with parents with a range of serious issues (including drug and alcohol abuse and historical cases of neglect), and will be able to facilitate placements for either single or double parents with one or two children, preparing them for independent living and offering supported or supervised contact sessions.  A full assessment report will also be available.

Kenneth was delightd to meet with several of his past and current clients, who enjoy the benefit of supported contact with their children following referrals to Chances Gives Choices.

Laceys Mediation support the work of Clair Carter and her team at Chances Gives Choices, who offer a valuable service to separated parents requiring supported or supervised contact, which is sometimes required in the early stages of the mediation process.
