• Supporting young people whose parents are splitting up

Laceys Mediation are proud to be a part of a project being run by some enthusiastic members of Poole Youth Parliament.

The project involves the Poole Youth Parliament running sessions for young people in Poole whose parents are splitting up.  It aims to provide them with a safe space to have fun with other young people going through the same thing.  The sessions are aimed at 11 to 18 year olds.

The meetings will be held as follows:

13th September 2016 @ Turlin Moor Youth Centre

    11th October 2016 @ Limelights Youth Centre

    8th November 2016 @ Creekmoor Youth Centre

    13th December 2016 @ Waterloo Youth Centre

    10th January 2016 @ Broadstone Youth Centre

14th February 2016 @ Bourne Valley Youth Centre

If you are interested in learning more please ring Becky on 07779 880727 or you can just turn up at any of the sessions.

We at Laceys will be helping run the workshops, aiming to use our skills and expertise in child mediation cases to give help and support to children at this difficult time in their lives.  We will be taking along lots of useful help sheets and tips for the young people that attend. We have no doubt that in addition to this we will learn a tremendous amount ourselves from the events and that this will assist us in the work we do with parents, and the child inclusive mediations that we undertake in Bournemouth, Poole and Southampton.
